We proudly serve as Wave Hill’s communications agency of record, promoting its contemporary art and horticulture programs, as well as raising its institutional profile. The quietly extraordinary public garden in the Bronx serves as a cultivated sanctuary for creativity, contemplation, and community, with sweeping views of the Hudson and a rare convergence of horticultural excellence and contemporary art. Once a private estate that hosted cultural figures such as Mark Twain, Thomas Henry Huxley, the Roosevelt family, and Arturo Toscanini, it opened to the public in 1965 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. In a city defined by movement and noise, Wave Hill offers something increasingly rare: a place to gather, slow down, and experience beauty in both the natural and creative sense.
Wave Hill’s contemporary art program, through rotating exhibitions in the Glyndor Gallery and Sunroom Project Space, thoughtfully explores ecology and place, while its horticulture program cares for 28 acres of gardens and woodlands—from the Marco Polo Stufano Conservatory’s tropical and desert plants to the Herb and Aquatic Gardens—and shares this expertise through classes, guided walks, and seasonal programs. Our work highlights this cross-pollination of art and horticulture to reach new audiences and deepen Wave Hill’s standing in New York’s cultural landscape.
